At the heart of the Cotswolds lies the quaint, picture-postcard village of Broadway. Peacefully dwelling at the base of the Worcestershire hills in a region of England that is nationally recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Broadway is a beautiful and historic village ideal for those who love picturesque landscapes, excellent cuisine, and rich cultural heritage.
The image of Broadway today remains as it has done for centuries; a charismatic spectacle of rolling wolds, overlooking a gathering of ancient honey coloured limestone period buildings with orderly horse chestnut trees lining the grass-fringed verges of the historic ‘broad way’ High Street.
Highly regarded as a popular tourist destination in the UK Broadway attracts thousands of people every year from all over the globe. Due to its geographical accessibility, it also serves as the perfect starting point and gateway to explore the Cotswolds.
The Frog is situated on the river Avon between Stratford and Evesham, it has two traditional bars and dining room, serving real ales, fine wines in front of a cosy open fire in winter and with beautiful riverside views from both the dining room and beer garden in summer.
The menu is freshly made with ingredients locally sourced. We serve coffee, tea, cake, light bites through to traditional pub grub.

Set in the heart of Stratford Upon Avon, this restaurant was started thanks to a kickstarter campaign. The best spot to dine is in the rear of the two rooms looking into the small kitchen or, if you’re in a group, book the 10-seater private dining room on the first floor beside their cookery school. The team may sport a laid-back look but they know their stuff and each creative dish is served with a full explanation of its make up. When the weather’s right, arrive early for drinks in the small courtyard.

Welford-on-Avon golf course is a pay & play family run hidden gem. Designed by Martin Hawtree in 2001 it’s a stunning 18 hole par 70 (6080 yard) parkland course, with numerous water features and stunning views. What it lacks in facilities it makes up for in affability, variation and value for money. The course also stands out because of the sheer contrast between two nines. The front nine utilises the undulating land and the greens are well manicured. The back nine is longer and flatter, but water features come into play, and the 18th hole features an approach not dissimilar to the 17th at Sawgrass. It is a “superb family run course” with “excellent fairways and greens and a great layout.”
