Karma Salford Hall’s Sir Phillip Hobbie restaurant is situated in a panelled hall featuring period paintings, chandeliers and plush carpets. Our talented chef team turn out exquisitely prepared English and European favourites as well as some international fare inspired by Karma’s global portfolio of resorts. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside afternoon tea. Room service is also available and packed lunches can be prepared for day excursions.

Karma Salford Hall’s residential bar is set out in the manner of a classic English pub, complete with oakwood bar top and stools, comfy leather sofas, tables and chairs and of course a fireplace. The best spot to dine is in the rear of the two rooms looking into the small kitchen or, if you’re in a group, book the 10-seater private dining room on the first floor beside their cookery school. The team may sport a laid-back look but they know their stuff and each creative dish is served with a full explanation of its make up. Welford-on-Avon Golf Course
Welford-on-Avon golf course is a pay & play family run hidden gem. Designed by Martin Hawtree in 2001 it’s a stunning 18 hole par 70 (6080 yard) parkland course, with numerous water features and stunning views. What it lacks in facilities it makes up for in affability, variation and value for money. The course also stands out because of the sheer contrast between two nines. The front nine utilises the undulating land and the greens are well manicured. The back nine is longer and flatter, but water features come into play, and the 18th hole features an approach not dissimilar to the 17th at Sawgrass. It is a “superb family run course” with “excellent fairways and greens and a great layout.”
