Arrive by plane into Mykonos airport or via ferry boat and you will be transported directly by our Estate Manager to Pelikanos. Mykonos airport is just 5 minutes drive, and the ferry is 10. Simply let us know your arrival details and everything will be arranged!

Little Venice
Where the most western part of the town meets the sea is the area known as “Little Venice”. Here
the buildings have been constructed right on the sea’s edge with their balconies overhanging the

Day trip to Island of Delos
The island of Delos is just off the coast of Mykonos, near the centre of the Cyclades archipelago,
and is one of the most important mythological, historical, and archaeological sites in Greece.
The excavations in the island are among the most extensive in the Mediterranean; ongoing
work takes place under the direction of the French School at Athens. The small, rocky, dry
island of Delos was supposedly the birthplace of Apollo, and is thought to be in the middle of
all the other Cycladic islands.

Paradise Beach
It’s not called “paradise” for nothing: a beautiful sandy beach with warm, clear waters. Hippies
introduced nude bathing to Mykonos during the 1960s at this particular beach. Founded by
Freddys Daktylidis, this was the beginning of a culture, a movement that would introduce Paradise
Beach to the world. Access was quite difficult and only word of mouth could spread this passion
for music, sun and love. Every summer the number of Paradise-goers kept rising. Freddy’s son and
Paradise Beach owner Markos Daktylidis took his father’s legacy to new heights. The resort now
features multiple restaurants, bars and facilities with thousands of people from across the globe
coming every year. World-class DJs play to a massive crowd inside Paradise Beach Club, currently
ranked as #17 best club in the world.

Outdoor Cinema
Situated in the greenest neighborhood of Chora, an outdoor cinema is tucked away among
oleander, olive, cypress, palm, pomegranate and pine trees, from where the local cicadas perform
their usual summer-long concerts. According to the British Independent newspaper, it ranks
among the most beautiful open-air cinemas in the world. Although it’s named after Manto
Mavrogenous, a heroine of the 1821 Greek Revolution, for locals the cinema’s location will always
be known as the Garden of Meletopoulos. Privately held until the middle of the last century, it
was donated to the municipality of Mykonos in 1957 by the lawyer, benefactor and founder of the
town’s public library Ioannis Meletopoulos. The cinema doesn’t restrict itself simply to showing
films. It also hosts exhibitions, book presentations, children’s theater and art workshops. It has
become a popular haunt for artists, a recreational area as well as a cultural focal point for locals
and tourists. Finally, don’t be surprised if you happen to catch a glimpse of the local pelican
pushing his way through without a ticket to nab a goldfish from the cistern. He has a little house
of his own in the garden.

Mykonos Shopping
Mykonos is a shopaholic’s wonderland, with trendy stores and boutiques galore and a mindboggling
variety of merchandise. But how can someone find their way to the right places, in a
town purposefully built to confuse and disorient all strangers? The answer is simple: Get lost!
The cobblestone paved streets of Mykonos Town are truly labyrinthine. Εvery Chora, as the
locals call the main towns on all the islands of the Aegean, was built on purpose in a completely
chaotic way, a defense against the bloodthirsty pirates of the post-Byzantine era: pillagers would
storm the town, invading from the port, only to find themselves lost, confused and ultimately
cornered in one of the countless dead-end pathways. Chora is a consumer’s wonderland, where
cute boutiques offer their sophisticated treasures right next to tourist shops filled to the brim
with “made in (insert name of any Far East country)” souvenirs. On the other side of the souvenir
shop, you’re likely to find a store representing a super-exclusive international brand, or a bakery,
or an art gallery, or maybe a ridiculously expensive (even for high-end travelers) jewelry shop,
or an entrance to an outlet that sells faucets and doorknobs. What’s even better is that you can
simply pretend that you’re not shopping at all, you’re just on a sightseeing stroll on a truly unique,
traditional Greek island.

Sunset Yoga
Based on the hatha yoga (vinyasa breathing) system of Ashtanga, Sunset Vinyasa will be taught
at a beginning level, but modifications to intensify the asanas will be given. Simply jump into
your yoga garb and head up to Castle Panigirakis, a listed, post-industrial monument overlooking
Chora, at around 19:00. Up there, overlooking the town an instructor holds the most enjoyable
yoga sessions that are timed to get the most out of the sunset view, with support from Delos in
the distance, emanating its magical energy. If you prefer to salute the sun on the beach our Estate
Manager can happily arrange, with plenty more programmes available such as aerial yoga (which
involves being suspended in hammocks), wake-up yoga and various kinds of fitness activities,
such as cross-training and TRX, as well as the use of power bags, agility ladders, kettlebells,
medicine balls and more.

Rarity Gallery
Rarity Gallery was established in the heart of Mykonos in 1994. The two curators Vassilis Matsaidonis
and Christos Nikolaou have dedicated their artistic mission to sharing ground-breaking contemporary
artists with the public. Spearheaded by their own personal knowledge and passion for art, their goal
is to offer an original and carefully curated aesthetic experience aimed at strengthening the public’s
appreciation for contemporary art, whilst honouring the artists, their exposure and their reputation.
Set within the impressive backdrop of an early 20th century Mykonian manor house, the gallery is
divided into five rooms each one following a distinct thematic narrative, whilst altogether remaining
in constant visual communication.

Discover the secrets of Mykonos’ cuisine on this enjoyable 6-hour cooking class. Travel to a
traditional farm estate and under the watchful eye of a culinary instructor, learn how to conjure
up delicious local recipes using fresh, seasonal ingredients. At the end of your lesson, savor
your creations for lunch or dinner with your fellow cooks, all washed down with local wine and
drinks. Classes can be taken in the daytime or evening, and you’ll learn how to make tsatziki and
spinach pie, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, beef with orzo and a selection of Mykonian Spiti’s
traditional dishes.
